Zhamanak: Avet Adonts to become Ambassador to Russia
Armenian Ambassador to Belgium and European Union Avet Adonts will be appointed Ambassador to Russia. Oleg Yesayan will be relieved of his position as Armenia’s Ambassador to Russia, Zhamanak writes.
Avet Adonts was appointed Ambassador to Belgium in 2009. Prior to it, he was an MP from Prosperous Armenia Party. He withdrew from the party after becoming Ambassador.
Former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will reportedly replace Avet Adonts as Armenian Ambassador to Belgium and European Union. He will coordinate Armenia’s work with the European Union and European Commission.
