Expert: We are seriously worried by silence of international community
The world has been divided into two poles and Armenia and Azerbaijan are on two opposite poles, Azeri studies expert Sargis Asatryan told a press conference on Monday.
The expert noted that Baku is worried by both Armenia’s decision to join the Customs Union and the recent developments in the Crimea.
Speaking about the border tensions, Mr Asatryan stressed that the tensions rise during visits by observers. “However, the international community does not react adequately and we are seriously worried by this silence,” he noted.
At the same time, the expert did not rule out that there can be a meeting between the Armenian and Azeri leaders.
