Harutyunyan: Armenian-Turkish Protocols do not work
The Armenian-Turkish Protocols do not work so reviving them is not a matter of principle, director of Noravank Foundation Gagik Harutyunyan told reporters on Tuesday.
He noted that currently a genocide is taking place in the Middle East where Christians are being exterminated and deported.
According to Harutyunyan, the present-day Turkey differs from the country that existed one hundred years ago – liberal intelligentsia has been formed in the country, but they are a minority in Turkey.
“Turkey has become an important country in the region and aspires to become a country with a leading economy in the world,” Gagik Harutyunyan said.
