RA ambassador to Iran: Armenian – Iranian relations may develop during Rohani’s presidency
“Armenia supports the disposition of Iran in international institutions,” Grigor Araqelyan, the RA ambassador to Iran has told the Iranian IRNA news agency.
The ambassador has touched upon the current situation of the Armenian – Iranian relations. He has noted that the Armenian – Iranian bilateral relations may develop and deepen during Rohani’s presidency.
Grigor Araqelyan has also added, “Armenia supports Iranian disposition in international institutions. Our dispositions in many issues coincide and we productively cooperate with each other in international institutions. Armenian – Iranian ties is one of the best examples of neighbor states.”
Coming up to development of economic relations ambassador Araqelyan has noted that a meeting of Armenian – Iranian Intergovernmental Committee is planned to be held in Tehran in September.
