Bako Sahakyan discusses Karabakh with U.S. Congressmen
On April 25, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met, at the Permanent Representation of NKR in Yerevan, with a group of U.S. Congressmen led by Congressman Ed Royce, Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Issues related to the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and regional processes were discussed. Both sides highlighted the peaceful resolution of the conflict within the OSCE Minsk Group framework.
President Sahakyan noted that official Stepanakert attaches importance to developing relations with the U.S., considering it as a friendly country, home to millions of Armenians.
NKR Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan, representatives of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) led by ANCA chairman Ken Hachikian and other officials attended the meeting, the press service of Artsakh Republic President reports.
