First vice president of Iran congratulates newly appointed Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan
“First vice president of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri has congratulated the newly appointed Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan,” reports the official news agency of Iran IRNA.
IRI first vice president has expressed hope in his address that by the joint efforts of the authorities of the two countries the good-neighborly relations will broaden in all directions.
Yesterday the Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian had left for Iran on an official visit. He had had separate meetings with the IRI President Hassan Rouhani, the Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the Spokesperson of Mejlis Ali Larijani. Nalbandian had passed to Hassan Rouhani the written address of the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
