U.S. Ambassador comments on James Warlick’s statement
The U.S. Co-Chair James Warlick’s speech aimed to launch discussions about the provisions of the peace agreement on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement so that the peoples of the two countries will be prepared for the peace agreement, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern told reporters on Friday.
Regarding the possibility of NKR’s involvement in the talks, Mr Heffern said, “James Warlick clearly stated that the positions of all the parties will be important for the process.”
John Heffern added that the issue of Karabakh’s participation in the talks should discussed by the parties, and cannot be forced by anyone.
