“RA NA President Galust Sahakyan is to visit Iran soon,” the ISNA Iranian news agency reports.

According to the information the NA President has touched upon the current situation of the Armenian – Iranian relations at the meeting with Iranian ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Rouhani and has noted that the high level relations between Iran and Armenia develop in environment of mutual trust.

Ambassador of Iran has attached importance to the Energy projects carried out by the two countries. He has noted that the Armenian and Iranian leaders are sure that there is no obstacle that would hinder the development of the bilateral relations of the countries.

Recently, RA FM Edward Nalbandian had left for Tehran for an official visit and had had meetings with the IRI president Hassan Rouhani, the Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the Spokesperson of Mejlis Ali Larijani. Nalbandian had passed to Hassan Rouhani the written address of the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
