French President arrives in Yerevan
French President Francois Hollande has arrived in Armenia for a two-day state visit.
He was met at Zvartnots Airport by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and other senior officials.
An official welcome ceremony was held for Mr Hollande, who is visiting Armenia at the invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan.
Francois Hollande will meet with Serzh Sargsyan during the visit. A meeting of the two delegations will take place after the meeting of the Presidents. A number of documents aimed at developing Armenian-French cooperation in various areas will be signed.
The Armenian and French Presidents will give a joint press conference. Also, they will attend an Armenian-French business forum.
Serzh Sargsyan and Francois Hollande will visit Tsitsernakaberd where they will lay flowers at the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims. They will attend a concert of world famous chansonnier Charles Aznavour.
The Armenian President will give an official dinner in honor of President Hollande.
