Heritage MP on abolition of compulsory component
MP from Heritage party Tevan Poghosyan welcomes the amendments to the pension law abolishing the compulsory component, but adds that the problem is that an employee has to submit an application to the employer saying that he is opposed to deductions from his salary for pensions.
“In reality the opposite should take place. The government has a hidden motive as citizens will either get tired of filing applications or will not be allowed to do it and in December the government will announce that the majority of the population is in favor of the compulsory component,” Poghosyan told reporters, adding that the aim of passing the bill was to weaken the civil movement.
