Karabakh President meets with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs
On May 18, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic President Bako Sahakyan met with the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
The President congratulated newly appointed French Co-Chair Pierre Andrieu for taking over the high post, expressing the hope that he will continue active participation in the process of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Bako Sahakyan expressed gratitude to former French Co-Chair Jacques Faure for impartial and efficient work.
Referring to the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement process, President Sahakyan underlined that official Stepanakert is committed to its peaceful settlement within the OSCE Minsk Group.
The President stressed that freedom and independence are exceptional values for Artsakh and return to the past both in terms of status and borders is impossible.
The current situation along the Line of Contact and regional trends were also discussed.
NKR Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan and other officials attended the meeting, the press service of the Artsakh Republic President reported.
