PM: Armenian President will make respective decision unless Turkey ratifies Protocols
I am convinced that if Turkey does not ratify the Protocols, the Armenian President will make the respective decision as this is within his competence, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has said.
The Prime Minister made the statement in response to a question from MP Khachatur Kokobelyan: “why the government program does not have a provision about the Armenian-Turkish Protocols.”
“The signing of the protocols with Turkey was a correct step as we could get a route to Europe via the territory of Turkey,” Mr Abrahamyan said.
“The history shows that we must be cautious and watchful while dealing with Turkey,” he added.
