Karabakh servicemen awarded medals
On May 24, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan participated in an enlarged consultation to discuss the 2013 winter draft’s results and 2014 summer draft.
Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan, NKR military commissar Mkhitar Avsharyan, heads of other concerned subdivisions and structures delivered speeches and reports.
Bako Sahakyan considered important proper implementation of the draft and close cooperation between the Defense Ministry, various government structures and regional administrations, giving appropriate instructions in this context.
President Sahakyan awarded “For Courage” and “For Service in Battle” medals to a group of army servicemen for averting and rebuffing encroachment of the enemy towards military positions of the NKR Defense Army, the press service of Artsakh Republic President reports.
