Receiving money from abroad to recharge your mobile account is now possible with Orange
Today Orange has announced the launch of a new solution that makes it possible for Orange clients to receive money to recharge their mobile account from abroad. From now on, in all major countries, the Armenian diaspora – whatever their mobile operator – will be able to recharge mobile credits of their close ones who use Orange Armenia services, through a special website. To recharge Orange Armenia mobile accounts of their close ones, website users will simply have to enter the Orange mobile number to be recharged, select an amount and pay by a credit card. In a number of countries, recharging is as well possible through SMS, USSD command or special point of sales.
“We are very pleased today to announce the launch of this new recharge solution. Now friends and families of our customers who live abroad will be able to recharge mobile credits of their close ones in Armenia. The service is already available in major countries where the Armenian diaspora is present, such as the U.S., France, Germany, Belgium, etc. With this new solution powered by Orange Group, it is our objective to help Armenian citizens to stay in contact with their close ones living abroad,” said Francis Gelibter, the General Director of Orange Armenia.
Recharge through https://topup.orange.com/ website is already available worldwide with credit cards issued in 39 countries. Recharge through SMS and USSD will as well be available from the U.S., France, UK, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Germany and Portugal. SMS and USSD numbers will be provided by the local operators.
Inhabitants of Russia already have a similar possibility to recharge the mobile accounts of their close ones using Orange Armenia services through QIWI and Intercoopbank payment terminals. Orange top up solution will soon be available as well in Russia.
