DigiTec Business Forum to be held in Yerevan on June 20-21
The 7th annual DigiTec Business Forum will be held in Yerevan on June 20-21, under the motto “Smart decisions for smart business,” Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) executive director Karen Vardanyan told a press conference on Friday.
According to him, the event is expected to attract about 3,000 visitors. Some 50 companies from Armenia, Russia and Georgia will participate in it.
Deputy Economy Minister Garegin Melkonyan noted: “The IT sector has development prospects in Armenia and it is not accidental that we made considerable progress in this area over the past years. I believe that we have a great potential in this area, which is not being used completely. Therefore, we can ensure positive growth in the sector in the future in case of using the entire potential.”
