Azerbaijan forces Belarus callisthenics team to give up using Aram Khachaturian’s music
Organizers of the upcoming European Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku asked the Belarusian team to give up using the music of Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian during their performance, at a press conference in Minsk reported the head coach Irina Leparskaya, the " tutby MEDIA," says.
According to her, half a year the team has performed under Khachaturian’s "Sabre Dance", but now it is having a.s.a.p. trainings of other exercises under different music.
As Leparskaya notes, it is due to this that they received low places at the World Cup in Minsk when performing exercises with ribbons and sabres.
On May 31 the Belarusian team took the sixth place in the all-around events (the second place with maces and the seventh - with ribbons and sabres), and the next day they took the seventh place in the exercise with ribbons and balls, said portal.
"There is something to scold for, but there is more to be sorry for," Leparskaya said.
