Exhibition dedicated to Islamist activists arrested in Azerbaijan is held in Iran
“Exhibition dedicated to Islamist activists arrested in Azerbaijan is held in Iran,” reports the Iranian “Arannews.ir”.
According to the information the exhibition dedicated to the Islamist activists arrested in Azerbaijan is being held in “Sheikh Safaeddin” complex of Iranian Ardabil province.
Recently the MP of Iranian Majlis, Muhammad Ismail Saidi has touched upon the condition of Islam in Azerbaijan and has noted in particular, “The Azerbaijani authorities are terrified of expansion of Islam, that’s why they press on the Islamist activists. In my opinion the case of Mohsen Samadov, the head of Islamist party of Azerbaijan, besides having a juridical stance, first of all has a political background.”
According to the Iranian sites the security forces of Azerbaijan in order to limit the activities of the religious activists acting in the country accuse some of them in cooperation with Iran; most of them today are imprisoned.
