Today the head of the executive power of Baku Hajibala Abutalibov met with the families of the Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced persons, during which the mayor struck them with grievous insult. The meeting ended with an unprecedented scandal, reads the Azerbaijani portal "Minval."

According to the Azerbaijani portal "Pia.az" at the meeting, while listening to people's complaints, the Baku executive power got furious and stated that the decision on resettlement of the refugees in Baku was fundamentally wrong. Thereafter Hajibala Abutalibov used expressions which do not fit to the ethical norms, the portal continues.

"You, refugees, you are not men. If you were men, you would not come to us leaving your lands. There is no difference between you and your wives. The fact that you were allowed to enter Baku was a fundamentally wrong decision," the mayor noted.

In response to the protests of the refugees Hajibala Abutalibov covered them with insults again. The police intervened in the incipient confrontation. Hajibala Abutalibov left the arena under police protection. All the attempts to know the disposition of the executive power of Baku on this issue failed, the portal writes.
