Hraparak: Construction volumes grow, while building materials production volumes decline
“Paradoxical though it may seem, volumes of construction in Armenia have not only been maintained, but have also increased by 0.1 percent, while production volumes of the main types of building materials have declined by at least 10 percent, in some cases by 40-70 percent, Hraparak writes.
“Thus, the “good” traditions of the Soviet period seem to be back, when some types of building materials were economized, as a result of which the disaster of 1988 turned into a national tragedy,” the newspaper says.
