OSCE Mission to monitor Line of Contact in Hadrut direction
On June 10, in accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno- Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Hadrut direction near Horadiz settlement, the press service of the NKR Foreign Ministry reported.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and staff member of the Office Peter Svedberg, as well as by representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Lieutenant Colonel Dan Harvey (Ireland).
From the opposite side of the Line of Contact, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria), as well as by representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Colonel Ilhami Degirmenchioglu (Turkey).
The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
