Koryun Nahapetyan, Tevan Poghosyan may represent Armenia at Rose Roth seminar in Baku
Head of the Armenian delegation to NATO PA Koryun Nahapetyan and delegation member, Heritage parliamentary faction secretary Tevan Poghosyan will travel to Baku on June 15 to attend NATO PA’s Rose Roth seminar on June 16-18 if Baku gives safety guarantees, Koryun Nahapetyan told Panorama.am.
Nahapetyan added that they have already received a response but the final decision will be made by Friday.
“The response was received from NATO PA Political Committee. The Azerbaijani delegation’s secretary said in a letter that Armenia will receive safety guarantees and resources to participate in the seminar,” Nahapetyan said.
He noted that they still have to discuss whether the response is sufficient.
Nahapetyan also said that the seminar agenda includes numerous issues of interest to Armenia, in particular the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.
