Armenian President’s congratulatory message was friendly move – Ukrainian envoy
Great changes took place in Ukraine in the past two months, with the most important event being the presidential election, Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta told a press conference in Yerevan.
A bright future awaits Ukraine, he said, speaking about the presidential election.
“Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Ukrainian President-elect Petro Poroshenko two days after the election,” Ivan Kukhta said.
“Ukraine assessed it as a friendly move by which Armenia recognized the election results,” the envoy noted, adding that then a decision was made to send the Ambassador back to Armenia.
