Serzh Sargsyan attends opening of new highway in Yerevan
Today Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening of a new highway in Yerevan.
Director of Yerevan Project company, Sirekan Ohanyan, told reporters that the highway, connecting Leningradyan Street to Admiral Isakov Avenue and the road leading to Zvartnots Airport, will relieve traffic in downtown Yerevan and will enable to reduce travel time by 15-20 minutes.
He noted the high quality of construction and asphalting work.
The road is 5.1 km long. 5 hectares of green space has been created and 2,000 trees have been planted as part of the project.
