Azerbaijan will have to admit defeat – Apresyan
The Karabakh borders are safe, but we should not forget that the war is not over yet and shootings continue in border areas, commander of a military detachment in Talish village, Artsakh, reserve lieutenant colonel Mikael Apresyan told a press conference Monday.
Speaking about the reasons of this situation, Apresyan said, “Azerbaijan does not admit its defeat, but will have to admit it. They have no alternative.” He stressed that the Armenian army is combat-ready.
Commenting on the situation in Talish, Apresyan said that the rear is safe and the village, which was formerly isolated from the outer world, now even has Internet access.
He added that no Artsakh resident wants to see Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan and everyone, from young to old, is ready to take up arms to defend their homeland from invaders.
