Iskandaryan doubts that Armenia will sign EaEU accession deal in July
Due to technical issues, Armenia is unlikely to complete the deal on accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU) in early July, although the latest events and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s visit to Armenia were part of the preparatory activities in this process, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan told a press conference in Yerevan.
“I think the technical issues cannot be resolved by July 1,” the expert said.
Speaking about Sergey Lavrov’s visit to Yerevan, Iskandaryan said that it was a regular visit since Armenia and Russia “have many topics to discuss.”
