Hovik Abrahamyan: I will not tolerate anarchy
The Armenian Prime Minister has slammed the conduct of civil activists who threw coins at the Minister of Labor and Minister of Education.
“Some members of our society are expressing their discontent by extreme methods,” Hovik Abrahamyan said when opening the cabinet meeting, adding that the rights and freedoms of representatives of the authorities should be protected.
“This is not freedom, but rather permissiveness. Freedom is the basis of civil society, while permissiveness is the basis of anarchy. I am not going to tolerate it,” the PM said.
Mr Abrahamyan also said that he instructed the Justice Minister and the Police Chief to examine this problem and find solutions.
