Armenia not planning to change its time zone
Armenia is not planning to change its time zone, Deputy Economy Minister Garnik Badalyan told Panorama.am.
The official said that Armenia will change its time zone when it considers it expedient.
When asked whether Russia’s decision to return winter time may affect Armenia, the Deputy Minister replied, “We do not change our time zone depending on any other country. We make that change taking into account our geographical position.”
The Russian State Duma Committee for Health has urged the lower chamber of Russia's parliament to pass the bill on return of winter time in third and fourth reading on July 1.
