Armenia to apply to ECHR on Mamikon Khojoyan case
Armenia intends to apply to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) over 77-year-old Armenian citizen Mamikon Khojoyan who died on May 20, more than two months after being released from Azeri captivity.
First Ombudsperson of Armenia, chairwoman of Against Legal Arbitrariness NGO Larisa Alaverdyan told reporters Friday that the organization is waiting for the official results of the forensic medical examination.
Khojoyan’s blood and urine tests showed that he was injected with psychotropic drugs and substances containing oil products which are dangerous to human health.
