On the occasion of his birthday Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan receives congratulations and best wishes from heads of states, international organizations, state and public sectors and individuals, the presidential press service reported.

The Armenian President received on his 60th birthday congratulatory messages from President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of China Xi Jinping, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of India Pranab Mukherjee, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The congratulatory message of Russian President Putin says in particular:

“Distinguished Serzh Azati, accept my warmest congratulations on your anniversary.

Your activities as president and earlier in other responsible state posts brought you respect of compatriots and authority on the international arena.

You make a great personal contribution to the strengthening of allied partnership between our countries. I am sure that the full-scale involvement of Armenia in Eurasian integration processes will promote the further development of the whole set of mutually beneficial Russian-Armenian ties.

I sincerely value the mutual understanding and trust that formed between us. I will be glad to continue communication with you and our close joint work for the benefit of the peoples of Russia and Armenia.

Vladimir Putin also conveyed his congratulations and best wishes during a phone conversation with Serzh Sargsyan today.

The message of the Chinese President says while attaching great attention to the development of Chinese-Armenian relations, he is ready to make joint efforts aimed at deepening the bilateral political mutual trust, strengthening the traditional friendship and developing mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
