Zhoghovurd: Robert Kocharyan seeks meeting with Putin
Citing reliable sources, Zhoghovurd writes that Armenian second President Robert Kocharyan has long been trying to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but his efforts have so far produced no result.
According to the newspaper’s sources, Kocharyan tries to organize the meeting with the help of AFK Sistema company’s head Vladimir Yevtushenkov. The goal of the meeting is to find out Russian President’s mood as to whether Kocharyan can become the next President of Armenia and whether he can expect Russia’s support in that issue.
