Heritage Party deputy chairman: No state of war in party
There were numerous false media reports about Heritage Party before its congress, saying that Raffi Hovannisian will quit as party chairman, there is a state of war in the party and pro-Russian forces have emerged in Heritage. But the reality is absolutely different and the party’s congress showed it, Heritage Party deputy chairman Armen Martirosyan told reporters Wednesday.
“We have been and remain a pro-Armenian force and we are in favor of cooperation with Russia, U.S., China and Georgia,” he said.
Referring to domestic political problems, Martirosyan said that Heritage welcomes the cooperation of the four non-government political forces and at the same time, it wishes to expand the format of parliamentary cooperation.
