PSRC presented no counterarguments – MP
The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) made a decision to increase the electricity prices without presenting any counterarguments about existing reserves that enable not to raise the tariffs, MP from Prosperous Armenia Party Mikael Melkumyan told reporters Wednesday.
Melkumyan noted that in a telephone talk today, PSRC head Robert Nazaryan said he was prepared to discuss the issue of reserves.
Regarding reserves, Melkumyan said in particular that the government must compensate for at least 30 percent of losses.
“If no measures are taken, there will be a need to increase the prices every year,” he stressed.
