Harassments among servicemen of Azerbaijani Armed Forces: Second bloody incident within two days
In the armed forces of Azerbaijan regular bloody incident has occurred: a soldier stabbed his comrade-in-arms, the Azerbaijani information agency "APA" reports.
It is reported that soldiers Seymour Huseynov during a conflict has knifed his comrade-in-arms Gabil Bayramov. The wounded was taken to hospital. The fact was confirmed by the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan. The case is under investigation.
Recently the emergency situations because of conflicts between the servicemen in the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have increased. Thus, during the past two days this is the second such incident that occurred in the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the fourth case within the last two.
Thus on June 4, 2014, in one of the units of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Azerbaijani soldiers Elnur Bakhtiyar oglu Muradov shot his comrade-in-arms Vurghun Mais oglu Aliyev by his gun. The press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed the information, without specifying whether the soldier was alive.
Earlier, on June 30, 2014, in one of the units of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry during a dispute one of the soldiers, Yashar Ahadzade, hit the other soldier, Ilkin Mustafayev, with a piece of iron. Ilkin Mustafayev died as a result.
Earlier, on 20 June 2014, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry serviceman Agakishiev Bahruz Hagani oglu gunned his comrade-in-arms Akhmedov Kiamran Intiqam oglu and Abdullayev Neman Elman oglu. The latter died as a result. Bahruz Agakishiev committed suicide by shooting himself.
YTD state the official bodies of Azerbaijan have already recognized the deaths of 45 soldiers of whom 32 died in non-combat conditions, 10 Azerbaijani soldiers committed suicide, five died from diseases, 7 died in road accident, at least 6 were killed by their comrades-in-arms, 2 drowned. Another 64 Azerbaijani soldiers were injured of whom 16 underwent harassment, 5 as a result of suicide attempts, 10 during the shootings at the frontline, 8 due to landmines, 21 in car accidents, 2 during exercises, and one was poisoned.
