Sargsyan-Putin meeting to take place in summer – Baghdasaryan
We had to settle some technical issues and the finalized agreement has now been sent to the sides. We are not going to accept any preconditions and we are ready to cooperate on equal terms, head of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary faction Vahram Baghdasaryan told reporters Saturday, commenting on the issue of why Armenia did not sign the EaEU accession agreement in early July.
“We are now waiting for the next meeting. Armenia will join the Eurasian Economic Union soon on equal terms,” the MP said.
Asked why the meeting of Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin did not take place in June, Baghdasaryan replied that no exact date was set for the meeting, adding that the meeting will surely take place this summer and Belarus and Kazakhstan should express their view on the agreements prior to that meeting.
