Orinats Yerkir leader apologizes to Armenian people for failures and omissions
Over the past three months, Orinats Yerkir Party has held meetings in various regions of Armenia and worked out a plan of priorities to improve the situation in the country, party leader Arthur Baghdasaryan told reporters in Yerevan.
According to Baghdasaryan, Armenia needs to switch to a proportional representation system to exclude bribes and ensure transparent elections. The next priority is economic development, for which, in his words, in particular, taxes must be lowered and the number of supervisory bodies must be reduced.
Regarding foreign policy, the politician stressed that Armenia needs strong negotiators to present its interests to the world.
Commenting on the upcoming increase in the electricity prices, he said that the party has applied to the court to appeal the PSRC’s decision.
Also, Arthur Baghdasaryan apologized to the Armenian people for the failures and omissions.
