Artsakh leader meets with Summer Internship Program participants
On July 16, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic President Bako Sahakyan received a group of young people who came to Artsakh as part of the Summer Internship Program organized by the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA).
President Sahakyan presented the state building process in Artsakh, the main indices of the country's socioeconomic development, touched upon the republic’s foreign policy and the regional processes.
The President highlighted the continuous strengthening of ties with the Diaspora, attaching within this context a special importance to the visits of the young people from the Diaspora to Armenia and Artsakh, their stay and work in the historic homeland.
Mr Sahakyan rated high the activity of the Armenian Assembly of America in that direction.
AAA Regional Director for Armenia and Artsakh Armina Darbinyan and other officials attended the meeting, the press service of the Artsakh Republic President reports.
