People must be sure that army carries out all its tasks – Minister
Measures will be taken to rule out recurrence of subversive acts, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said at a cabinet meeting on Thursday.
The Minister noted that Azerbaijan creates tension on the Line of Contact and recently tensions are high in Armenia’s Tavush province.
Commenting on the recent commando raid by Azerbaijani forces, Mr Ohanyan said that the group has been neutralized and the Defense Army is working with the population to make it clear to them that the Army carries out all tasks set before it.
He added that the army reinforces the defense of the state border to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
