‘‘Sea is my passion’’: Today is Ivan Aivazovsky’s anniversary (photos)
Ivan Aivazovsky (Hovhannes Ayvazyan): “Sea is my passion: I could find something new there all the time.”
Many artists have been passionate to write the sea and only Ivan Aivazovsky has devoted himself to it. Due to the brilliant talent and love towards the sea he has precisely depicted the movement of the waves, its breathing in more than 6000 canvas.
July 29 is the anniversary of the great artist, sea painter Ivan Aivazovsky. On this occasion AdMe.ru presents the best pieces of works of the latter.
