Azerbaijani forces violated ceasefire 859 times during one night
Azerbaijan kept violating the ceasefire regime in various sections of its border with Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh on the night of August 4 and this morning, mostly opening fire from large-caliber weapons, the Armenian Defense Ministry reports.
According to the Armenian Armed Forces and the NKR Defense Army, the enemy violated the ceasefire 859 times, of which 830 cases were reported on the Azerbaijan-Karabakh border. A total of 11,495 shots were fired at Armenian frontline positions.
The Armenian side returned the fire 29 times (12 times on the Azerbaijan-Karabakh border), with a total of 3,616 shots fired.
