Zhoghovurd: Armenia already feeling consequences of sanctions against Russia
Armenia has not yet joined the Eurasian Economic Union, but it is already feeling the effects of the international sanctions against Russia, Zhoghovurd writes, noting that remittances to Armenia have decreased in recent months.
According to the newspaper, over $369.5 million was transferred to Armenia from Russia in the second quarter of last year, while this year the remittances made $364.1 million. In June 2013, the remittances amounted to over $141 million, while in the same month of this year they made $134 million.
