Armenian President to pay working visit to Sochi
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will go on a working visit to Sochi, Russia on August 8, the President’s press service reported.
President Sargsyan is expected to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on August 9.
The Armenian side has expressed willingness to participate in a trilateral meeting with the Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents to discuss peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the situation that formed because of the escalation of tension by Azerbaijan.
“The Armenian side is sure that there is no alternative to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and has always been in favor of high-level meetings,” the press service added.
