Hraparak: Deputy Ombudsman for Military Affairs did not do military service
Armen Grigoryan has been appointed Deputy Ombudsman for Military Affairs, the Ombudsman’s Office told Hraparak.
“This appointment is interesting because an individual who did not do military service will be responsible for protection of servicemen's rights. Grigoryan has never before dealt with human rights protection issues. He has been aide to Armenian Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan since 2013. In 2011-2012, he was assistant to judge in the Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun, Kentron and Nork-Marash courts,” the newspaper writes.
