Armenia records progress in poultry farming – Sergey Stepanyan
The poultry farming sector needs some investment to enable export of native products to the Russian market, chairman of the Union of Poultry Breeders of Armenia Sergey Stepanyan told a press conference on Monday.
In his words, Armenia has recently made progress in poultry farming, with a 2.3% percent increase in poultry exports.
Chairman of the Union of Consumers Armen Poghosyan said for his part that currently Armenia imports about 60% of poultry, while many poultry farms in Armenia do not function.
