If consistent work is done, we can expect shadow sector reduction at least by 10-15% - expert
It is unrealistic to expect a considerable reduction of shadow sector of economy in a hundred days, but the first results of the work carried out in that direction are already obvious, economist Tatul Manaseryan told reporters on Monday.
His comment came in response to a reporter’s question of whether the new cabinet managed to make progress in reducing the shadow sector.
Manaseryan stressed the importance of examining the activities of each sector and all major enterprises and choosing the style of working outside the cabinet. “I attach importance to work with professionals in order to enrich the set of tools the government should work with,” he said.
According to the economist, if consistent work is done, we can expect the shadow sector to be reduced at least by 10-15% this year.
