Armenian issue included in Davutoglu's manifesto
Ahmet Davutoglu who was elected chairman of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party introduced his nine-point manifesto at the party’s convention.
The manifesto outlined the party’s future plans in the economic, cultural, legal and foreign policy areas, including in settlement of conflicts.
According to Turkish newspaper Milliyet, the 9th point of the manifesto, foreign policy section, concerns the Armenian issue. “The agenda of Turkey's foreign policy consists of the Armenian issue and the Cyprus issue. We will never give up our key principles,” it reads.
