Armenian FM hands Erdogan official invitation to visit Yerevan on April 24, 2015
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian attended the inauguration of Turkey's President-elect Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on August 28, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.
High-ranking delegations from several dozens of countries were present at the ceremony at the Cankaya Palace where Turkey’s outgoing President Abdullah Gul handed over the presidential powers to Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the reception for the heads of delegations following the ceremony, Minister Nalbandian had a brief conversation with President Erdogan and handed him an official invitation from Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to attend the remembrance ceremony dedicated to the Armenian Genocide victims on April 24, 2015 in Yerevan.
