Armenia’s entry into EaEU will not lead to change in Armenia-NKR relations – Minasyan
Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU) will not have any effect on relations between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the Armenian National Assembly, Gagik Minasyan, told a press conference on Tuesday.
“Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic are two different states, one republic is recognized, while the other is not. The two states have close economic, political, cultural, military and other ties. Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union will not have any effect on its relations with NKR and Karabakh’s status will not change,” the MP said, ruling out establishment of a customs border between Armenia and Karabakh.
