Khachatur Marozyan: Constitutional reform is public demand
The Constitution always needs compulsory reforms, chairman of International Association of Lawyers and Psychologists NGO Khachatur Marozyan told reporters on Wednesday.
“At the first sight, it seems that the government carries out the reforms from party or individual considerations. I think the constitutional reform in Armenia is a public demand,” he said.
In his words, there is a necessity to carry out major reforms in all the sectors of Armenia’s public life: social, legal, judicial and economic.
According to Marozyan, some laws contain anti-constitutional provisions and some have been created in violation of international norms so changes in the legal sector may help avoid many problems.
