Armenian prisoners may be allowed to use mobile phones and internet
The Armenian Justice Ministry may introduce a draft law permitting the prisoners to communicate with the outside world by means of mobile phone and internet, Justice Minister Hovhannes Manukyan said at a briefing on Thursday.
“We are conducting studies. We are going to study the global experience to find out the limit for giving a prisoner the right to legally communicate with the outside world. We will decide on the concept when we determine that limit. I think we will have certain solutions by the end of this year,” said the Minister.
