United States Ambassador to OSCE: Azerbaijan blocks agenda of OSCE Conference on Human Rights
Azerbaijan is one of the countries that had blocked the agenda of the Conference on Human Rights, writes Ambassador to OSCE Daniel B. Baer in his Twitter microblog.
"The Vatican is one of the two countries that have blocked the agenda of the Annual Conference on Human Rights. The other one is Azerbaijan," wrote Baer.
To the question of one of the users why he thinks in that way, Baer noted that they opposed the discussion on discrimination, perhaps because they are afraid of the LGBT community and in the same time are reluctant to discuss the issues concerning the protection of journalists.
